What is the Okanagan Fest-of-Ale Legacy Fund?

The legacy fund was established in 2005 so the Okanagan Fest-of-Ale Society will always provide the opportunity to 'give back' to the community should the OFOA event ever cease to take place, by having the CFSO disperse the interest on the funds on an annual basis. This fund was established with the proceeds from the first 10 years that the event. While the event is still taking place, that years interest is reinvested into the fund and, if net proceeds are available, additional monies are added to the legacy fund on an annual basis. The fund is being managed by the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan.

How much money has the OFOA Society donated back to the community?

The Okanagan Fest-of-Ale Society is thrilled to be able to 'give back' to the community and has dispursed $247,144.63 in cash since 2003. This is only possible through your support of the annual community event and the successful management of the OFOA Society. Thank you!
